Preparation for this year's ice show is underway, by now all skaters should have received a handout indicating the practice schedule for their group

East (Stu Hurley Arena):

Intro CanSkate 1 and 2:
Tuesdays 5:30pm - 6:00pm
Fridays 6:15pm - 6:45pm

CanSkate Group 3 (Red and Blue):
Tuesdays 5:30pm - 6:00pm
Fridays 6:15pm - 6:45pm

CanSkate Group 4 (Yellow and Purple):
Tuesdays 6:00pm - 6:30pm
Fridays 6:45pm - 7:15pm

Skaters NOT participating in show:
Tuesdays 6:00pm - 6:30pm

West (Peter Murray Arena):

SJSC Year End Ice Show - Costumes
In order to complete the show costumes, the SJSC show committee would ask that you provide the following for your skater(s):

East (Stu Hurley Arena):

Intro CanSkate 1 and 2:
song from the play "The Lion King"
Brown or beige shirt or sweater preferably long sleeved or a t-shirt with a turtleneck underneath and brown or beige pants

CanSkate Group 3 (Red and Blue):
song from the play "Hairspray"
BOYS: White shirt (preferably long sleeved shirt or sweater) and black pants
GIRLS: White shirt (preferably long sleeved shirt or sweater) and beige skating tights or white leggings. (Please do not use thin tights or pantyhose.)

CanSkate Group 4 (Yellow and Purple):
song from the play "Mamma Mia"
BOYS: White shirt (preferably long sleeved shirt, turtleneck or sweater) and beige, brown or black pants
GIRLS: White shirt (preferably long sleeved shirt, turtleneck or sweater) and coloured tights or leggings or beige skating tights. (Please do not use thin tights or pantyhose.)

Tie-dye or flowered shirts (preferably long-sleeved shirt or a t-shirt with a long-sleeved shirt or sweater underneath) and jeans or other coloured pants.

CanSkate Group 1 (Red and Blue):

BOYS: White shirt (preferably long sleeved shirt, turtleneck or sweater) and beige, brown or black pants
GIRLS: White shirt (preferably long sleeved shirt, turtleneck or sweater) and coloured tights or leggings or beige skating tights. (Please do not use thin tights or pantyhose.)

CanSkate Group 2 (Yellow and Purple):

BOYS: Green, brown or white shirt (preferably long sleeved shirt, turtleneck or sweater) and green, beige or brown pants
GIRLS: a long night gown (not past the knees) with warm clothing underneath, such as a turtleneck or sweater and leggings or jogging pants.

Advanced CanSkate:

Black or grey shirt (preferably long sleeved shirt, turtleneck or sweater) and black pants

Intermediates:

Black shirt and black pants or leggings

Seniors:

song from the play "The Phantom of the Opera"
Regular skating tights, synchro makeup and hair should be in a bun

2009 Children's Fitness Tax Credit Receipt
Tax Credit receipts for the 2009 year will be available in the music rooms of the Peter Murrray and Stu Hurley arenas starting Saturday, February 13. Please come to the music room to get your receipt.

Skate NB Lottery tickets
All registered skaters should have received a book of Skate NB Lottery Tickets.

Please be sure to turn in your completed ticket stubs to the music room at either rink asap. The draw for the $10,000 will take place at the Skate NB AGM on April 24, 2010.
